Dr Shabir Hussain Mirza has Masters in English, M. Phil on Ruskin Bond’s Short Fiction from University of Kashmir and PhD on the topic “Gender Relations in the select novels of Nathanael West, John Updike & John Hawkes” from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Dr Mirza has presented papers in Oklahoma, Boston, Taiwan, Belgrade and other places. His papers are published in National & International journals. He is presently faculty member in the Department of English at Govt. College for Women, MA Road, J&K, Srinagar.
