Bio-note

Dr Lalita Hogan is the author of A Country Without Borders: Poems and Stories of Kashmir
(2016, 2Leaf Press, distributed by University of Chicago Press). She is Emerita Professor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and in Spring 2023, will be teaching one course in the English Department at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. In a career spanning thirty five years, Dr. Lalita Hogan has co-edited and co-authored five books published by university presses, and five book-length special issues of scholarly journals. The most recent among these is The Rutledge Companion to Literature and Emotion (2022) co-edited with Patrick Colm Hogan and Bradley Irish. In addition, Dr Lalita Hogan has published numerous articles and book chapters on Shakespeare, John Webster, Goethe, Rabindranath Tagore, R.K. Narayan, Hindi Cinema, Comparative Aesthetics, Post-Structuralist Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Approaches to Culture, and Literature and Emotion. Over the years, she has presented her work at a very large number of national and international conferences.
